Living Life One Cheerio at a Time

Child #1 really wanted a cake pop maker for Christmas. So my mom found her the silicone molds "As seen on TV" kind. I thought it would be a great thing to do when her friend was over the other day, but remember this . Yep, cake pop fail! The pop mold has only 8 holes. and about a tsp of batter in each hole and 15 minutes to cook and another 15 to cool before you can pop them out....ahhhhhh! its a long time and I still haven't used up all the batter! I gave the children melted chocolate chips and sprinkles and this is what happened. No words just pictures!

Our annual tradition of making sugar cut out cookies. The middle kids cut out all the cookies yesterday morning then in the afternoon  I gave frosting and sprinkles to the older 3 and let them decorate until their hearts were content. *TIP* I had my kids use popsicle sticks to frost the cookies. A* MA *ZING!  My table was covered in lots of sprinkles. In fact bubby spilled an entire jar of sprinkles onto his first cookie. oops! Oh well its all about the memories anyways!
