Simple Woman's Daybook

Its been awhile, but here goes nothing.... Outside my window...sunshine and COLD. I mean it is 30* and frosty. IN. OCTOBER. I am thinking...how to get through the busyness of this week I am thankful...for a GOD who loves me in spite of myself In the kitchen...the remnants of muffins I am wearing...my pj's and its after 10 am I am creating...a project for school and I am really clueless about what I should be doing. I am going...to take the kids to a local church's trunk or treat today because on the 31st they have dance during trick or treat in our neighborhood. the beauty of praying friends

I have been meaning to write this for sometime. I wanted to share about the month that I was quiet. That time was trying for our family. I was praying but sometimes I felt I didn't have the words or even know what to say. That's where my community of amazing friends came into play. It was a comfort knowing that these girls were down on their knees in my stead praying the words that I couldn't come up with. There were emails, texts and phone calls frequently. I kept these girls in the loop. Sometimes I may have been obnoxious. This ladies encouraged me through scripture and conversations. Words of wisdom and a few "suck it up buttercup" conversations had to happen when I was having a particular tantrum. Things changed rapidly. We were at the mercy of interviewers. Sure things were doors that closed pretty quickly so that left us with dependence on God and the prayers of our friends. The hubs was applying for jobs 12 hours a day.  He'd say "what do you...

So my husband has been around a little more than usual so he's been taking a few more pics on his phone. I happened to be on his phone last night and saw a few pictures I didn't know he took. October 10 on 10

Has it really been a month since I've posted last? My word! Well, I ended last month's 10 on 10 with the fact that my husband lost his job, but today I have good news. He accepted a new job yesterday!!!!!!!!! He will be working only 25 minutes from our house. WOHOO! So today I praise God for taking care of us during this uncertain time and providing for us in amazing ways.
