breakfast of champions

This is her praying over her meal....how cute is little girl! Recently, or the last 3 weeks, little girl has been sick. I've taken her to the doctor and urgent care and nothing was "wrong" except a  stomach virus. For the first  week she was puking and having the nastiest of diapers. But now for the last 2 she's been just dirtying the diapers. And when I mean dirtying I mean I had to change sheets. Sometimes multiple times a day and night. I mean I have done more 3 am laundry loads than I care to count. She didn't feel good. She really wasn't eating. And when she was eating it wasn't much. So when she started eating and wanting to eat I was excited. Her diet mostly consisted of  waffles, goldfish and graham crackers. Every day, every meal. I know its not the best breakfast but people she was eating. As a first time mom I wouldn't have stood for this but as she's number 4....oh well. So today I share with you a picture of little girl eat...

up in flames

Do you ever have one of those days where you wake up and say its going to be a great day? Well today I thought that because I had some quiet time this morning. Some quiet coffee and take a shower ALONE without being a referee time. Usually our mornings hit the ground running and I am often lucky to brush my teeth and throw some deodorant  on before nine. Someone always needs something, like breakfast or a drink. But today I had 45 minutes of sunshine, coffee and a shower. AHHHH! The children finally got up and I threw a pop tart in the toaster oven. And that's when my day went up in flames. The pop tart and all the other crumbs I am too lazy to clean out caught on fire. I mean FLAMES engulfed the pop tart. BLACKENED CAJUN STYLE. Finally the flames died down enough for me to throw some water on the thing and rush it out to my deck. No breakfast and no toaster oven. Well at least I had a cup of coffee. I am linking up with Hill....

breakfast bake

This one is so simple yet so Y.U.M.M.Y! I take it to all my brunch requirements and even make it on a regular basis for my kids for dinner. 1 can of crescent rolls 8 oz of breakfast meat (bacon, ham or sausage) 6 eggs 1/2 cup of milk (I use soy) 1/2 tsp pepper 1 cup of cheddar cheese 1 cup of mozzarella cheese Heat oven to 350. Unroll crescent rolls onto bottom of  13 x 9 pan. Press seams together. Beat eggs, milk and pepper until blended. Place cheese and meat on rolls. Pour egg mix over. Bake 25 minutes or until center is set.

Applesauce Raisen Bran Cereal

My kids love Raisen bran cereal "sunshine cereal" on a regular basis {pun intended}. I was trying to use up the box before it went bad so I went to post's website and found this website. They are pretty yummy. I stuck some carrots in {probably next time a puree and not the shredded kind} the muffins. Tastey non the less. Enjoy! http://www.postcereals.com/recipes/post_recipes/default.aspx?rid=R2356v0E
