Living Life One Cheerio at a Time

Not really but that would be my official title for child #1. As a first born she's been pretty used to calling the shots around here. The babies follow {willingly and unwillingly}her lead. She tells them what to do, when to do it and how to do it. BUT this week has been her first fullish week of school {crazy gentle start}. The babies have been on their own to come up with {get into trouble} something to do. Yesterday was interesting they were very dependant on mom to help them come up with things {okay so mom was liking the cruise director too}. But after a few hours they seemed to get the hang of it. Man you should have seen them when she got off the bus, they were so EXCITED! So today to give them a shot at being a full time cruise director we went to the zoo. They got to see all the animals they wanted to see and we did not see the elephant or the polar bears {#1's top favs}. Child #2 was sooooo cute at the manatees. She was fervently waving "HI" to them. I woke up this morning and actually caught the weather. And guess what it wasn't going to be a scorcher (only high 70's but when we got there it was 65~yea us!), so I decided to go with the kiddos to "da zooooz." The zoo opens at 9 am and we were there by 9:01. Which means {EXCELLENT} parking. Let me tell you I have {MAD} double stroller steering skills, so if need be I will take you out! So lugging lunch 2 diaper bags and three little ones we were off. Usually our top 3 animals are the elephants, manatees and fish. But today because we were so early we got to see a lot more. In fact we sat at the pacing tigers window with the tiger and the kids. They got a very up close and personal look at him. Child #2 said "Tigee cute I huggie!" Somewhere in the North American section child #2 wanted out of the stroller to climb on all those statues placed throughout the zoo. I usually don't let her but the crowds were low so out she came.
