Living Life One Cheerio at a Time

This is from the wedding my girls were flower girls in September. This is the pictures the hubs took from his phone of the kids on the dance floor. #1 got her papa to dance (to Michael Jackson). Hope he doesn't get in trouble...isn't this against Nazarene rules? Little man thought the bridesmaids were cute. So he found himself most of the night  in the middle of them dancing away.

So my brother got married  at the begining of December. Here's some long overdue pics of child #1 and little man in the wedding. Well we tried to get all of us looking in one direction.... About 15 minutes into the wedding he fell asleep. Yep, out cold for over 1 hour!

So child #1 and I have been reading E.V.E.R.Y princess/fairy chapter book at her school library. She gains so much knowledge from the books, including all the things a bride needs on her wedding day (blue, borrowed, old &new). The other day I overheard her telling her sister that they to gather her blue, borrowed,old and new things for her wedding. Then she said,"I think I am going to add another one...something used." *gulp* something used??? I have no words people. NO words! *shakes head* something used??? Again I need to be on my knees praying for her husband!!!!!!

This last weekend I went home to my parent's home with my circus in tow. We had several reasons for going home. First and foremost it was the celebration of the reserection of Jesus Christ. The second reason was my grandpa found out last Wednesday he has cancer throughout his body. He broke his arm on Tuesday and they will not be able to do anything to help heal him, just pain management. We wanted to see him before he went home. And our third reason was my brother, Uncle BoBo, decided to get married to his fiance. They planned a  wedding that was supposed to happen in December in just a few days.  Big Papa, and my dad Papa and some of the grand kids and great grand kids  Aunt Lindsey and Uncle BoBo Sitting down to their first meal as a married couple Cutting the cake My husband and brother in law ran to the local store to get a few supplies : TP, soap, frosting, string and dog bones. They had a few partners in crime  little help from my dad and uncle ...

It is kindergarten people, kindergarten ! In the recent weeks child #1 has gotten a note from a boy with the words "I {heart} you" and another boy just gave her a purple hair bow he found {gag} because she is his friend. Really, she's 5. We are going to have to lock this one up and throw away the key. Can't wait until she's 16 people and we have boys calling her...NRA anyone? I am glad she is friendly and sweet to these kids. And in my biased opinion she is adorable. Whoa boy its going to be a long ride! Oh and just in case G's mom is reading this she also has a #2 groom picked out just in case G, her #1, doesn't work out. And she refers to them as #1 and #2 in convo not just mom code here! On other wedding notes, her uncle Bobo is getting married and her direct quote was, "Finally, I have been waiting for this the whole live long year!" "Mom, I wonder who they are going to choose (pointing at herself)?" Choose for what? "You know...
