Living Life One Cheerio at a Time

What am I thankful today? What did I find beautiful? I found my kids to be funny and I enjoyed them today. I also found the end of the day to be very ugly. I am very ashamed that often I get bogged down in those moments  and wished I had been more grateful  for the whole day.  Okay, so much for being real and honest there's no pictures of the pre nap meltdown or the end of the day WWF wrestling and screaming match that happened that my poor neighbors heard. Today there's only pictures of joy, so there may be a few more than 10. I have learned well from my friend Malia who likes to make up her own rules anyways! this is joy in liquid form "let's go on an adventure from Ohio to Georgia with this map " Sunday school homework....looking it up on Bible Gateway.com Little man and mommy Chips, salsa, sweet tea, & this precious girl she took this selfie daddy and little time making flubber at a birthday party bubble...

In my life I feel like genius and lazy have a fine, sometimes very light grey line in between them. A mom of 4 wild kiddos I have to be creative. Sometimes I am well planned out and am on top of it. I am usually really good about thank you cards, but somewhere this year they got lost. I realized during  the 3 oldest birthday  party    that I had forgotten to send out Thank you's from the littlest ones birthday.  Her party was in MAY! OOPS! So I took the lazy way out and this is what I made.... Cute, yes! Genius, maybe? Lazy, definitely! I printed them off and sent them out.  Snail mail. So I did take sometime to hand write addresses. That counts, right? And this was the best of all the shots. Not perfect but they suffice. Lazy or genius...you decide! For some reason I thought that it would be a good idea to have the 3 oldest birthday party together at home and let each of them invite 3 children. That was a total of 14 kids. In my brain it was going to be okay since they could play outside and I would only have a 90 minute party. Well, guess what it RAINED! ALL DAY! I am thankful we have a finished basement with lots of toys. I will have to say it went well, but it was loud and busy. VERY BUSY! Here are a few shots  from the weekend.
