I apologize for being MIA recently. This has been an interesting year for our family. My husband lost his job in September. That was the day our life turned upside down and you can read about the day he lost his job here. But God was teaching us to trust, obey and PRAY. You can read about that journey at this post.. I mean its been 9 months you may need to catch up!
The hubs loves his job. We knew taking this job we may have to make some cut backs and some sacrifices but it was going to be worth it for the opportunity and peace. I keep telling him I really didn't like him the last few years of his last job and I like him so much better now. Its a good change!
We explained to the kids early on that there might be a move happening. They had a million question. And at some point I told them that there was going to have to be more questions than answers.
As a family we were going to trust that God would let us know what we were going to do and how it was going to get done. If we were to move HE would open the doors and close the necessary doors. Easy peasy! HA!
So come spring we called the realtor. She had been with us for the buying/selling of our previous house 14 yrs. ago and the buying of this house 7 yrs. ago. Yes that's right we move EVERY 7 years it seems. We jokingly told her that we had high expectations since she sold our other house in a week and a half.
People this house was on the market for 3 days! At the end of the 3rd day we had 3 offers. NO JOKING! We were able to accept an offer OVER the asking price. God is good in so many ways!
Now this process hasn't been all rainbows and roses but we know God's got this and we are going to trust that all the details get worked out. We will be moving in a few days. To a new city, school and neighborhood. We found a house only 8 minutes from daddy's work. His first job his commute was 45 minutes on a good day and this job was 30 minutes. We are in desperate need of some daddy time. God is providing that for us! PRAISE GOD!
