So one week and one day ago Pooh bear went full on big girl. She moved to a big girl bed and went paci free. Several weeks ago she announced that she wanted to be in a big girl bed. I told her that she needed to start staying dry all night. She was staying dry all day and during naps but nigh time was a different story. Then all of the sudden she started staying dry. ALL. NIGHT. So she was dry day and night for 2 weeks. The hubs and I decided to go get her a bedspread that would fit her full sized big girl bed. She wanted pink. We found a loud polka-dotty (pink, green and blue on a chocolate background) set. She loved it! We set it up and then dropped the bomb. NO MORE PACI. Guess what?! She hasn't asked for it. NOT. ONCE. She has miraculously stayed in her bed until I get her out. I am loving my new big girl.
Okay, now to be honest, she's only on the mattress and box spring. I call her pooh bear only because #1 gave her that nickname when she was born, but reality is she's part T-I-double grrr! We will put her room together shortly. Maybe after I switch her rooms. Let's see how many changes I can throw at this girl in such a short time period before she breaks! {just kidding mom} She's had this room for almost 3 years now and I have to switch.
Yes, I am going to switch her rooms with the little man's. He's a L.I.G.H.T. SLEEPER! His room shares a wall with my bathroom and when my husband gets up at O'dark thirty my little man light sleeper gets up. Early riser=major grump-a-saurus. She's such a heavy sleeper. They need to switch.
His current room is pale green and had a U.G.L.Y border and a chair rail. She wants a pink room.
Well I spent about an hour working on Satan's wallpaper. Daddy taped it off and got the pink paint. Soon and very soon we will paint it a lovely shade. And switch-a-roo. Now her current room is white so that should be an easy painting job. No border, No chair rail.
Its been a big week for pooh bear. She's done an amazing job with all the changes!
